| The DEP-2509 is a rigid plastic case which contains a circuit board to which the 2.5-inch laptop drive is attached. One end has an on/off switch and the other has the data connector and a 5 volt socket for power from the adapter (A disk draws too much current on start up to be able to power it through a PC card). |
| The DAP-3603 is the PC card and cable interface for the laptop. |
| There are also USB1,USB2 and Firewire interfaces available (a Cardbus card is being discontinued for lack of demand). |
| The DEP-3509 is the 3.5-inch metal bay which fits permanently into the desktop PC. and is fitted just like a 3.5-inch drive. |
| The DM-525 is just any standard 5.25 bay to 3.5 bay mounting frame. |
| The laptop power connector(not shown) is a 3.5cm long through connector that fits into the PS2 keyboard or mouse port with a cable coming out of the side that plugs into the back of the DEP-2509. |
| There is also a 100-240v 47-63Hz mains power supply available for the DEP-2509 should your Laptop not supply sufficient power. |
